Job Summary:
Sumiden Wire Products Corporation is opening our 3rd prestressed concrete strand (PC strand) manufacturing plant in the US. This new plant will firmly establish Sumiden Wire as the 2nd largest US PC strand manufacturer with the most complete nationwide presence among our competitors. The new plant will be located in Dayton, TX and is expected to come online in 1st Half 2017. This position will support the PC strand manufacturing operations by providing product quality control and product/process optimization. This position will also provide production process support to ensure production goals and objectives (including daily tasks) are planned, coordinated and implemented in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
This position will have advancement opportunities in either an engineering management role or production management role. The ideal candidate will be interested in putting their engineering training to work as well as be open to developing skills in other related areas. This position will be an integral part of the start-up and success of this new manufacturing plant with routine contact and communication with personnel at all levels of management within the organization. By joining our team during a new plant start-up, a wealth of opportunities will be provided for becoming a product expert in the production and use of prestressing steel wire strand. The person hired will be able to work closely with local and international experts in all levels of the production process and supply chain.

Essential Job Functions:
This position requires the successful candidate be able to perform the following activities:
Provide engineering support to manufacturing and maintenance. This includes monitoring and evaluating product quality, analyzing and resolving manufacturing problems, and providing immediate and effective process troubleshooting.
Work closely with raw material suppliers to improve performance and maintain effective product feedback.
Initiate and implement cost, efficiency and quality improvements in the production process.
Monitor manufacturing data to evaluate product quality and production efficiency to support production goals. This includes effective process control counteraction initiatives.
Initiate design improvement recommendations involving process and equipment optimization. This includes cost-reductions and budgetary control of current and future processes.
Maintain all aspects of quality, including standards, process standards, customer quality, internal quality, vendor quality documentation and prepare reports as necessary.
Communicate with production personnel on the status of ongoing projects and issues. Participate in operations planning and scheduling meetings as required by the organization's management group.
Educational/Vocational Preparation:
College courses: Bachelor's degree or higher, mechanical engineering degree preferred
High school diploma or GED: Required
Performance on other jobs: 0-5 years' work experience preferred, experience in the metals or construction industry is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
