Job Summary
Working as the Executive Chef you are department head for culinary operations of a K-12 School account. You will ensure efficient, safe and sanitary food production, preparation and presentation. You are responsible for handling, preparation and storage of perishable products. Duties also include menu development, inventory, purchasing, labor and food cost controls, maintaining sanitation standards, and personnel management to include hiring, coaching, counseling, training and developing. Additional responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Plans nutritionally sound menus that comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Develops and implements a menu system to maximize use of USDA foods.
Participates in employee meetings and training programs
Conducts safety, sanitation and maintenance programs
Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards
Maintains an active role in managing team developments
Manages purchasing and inventory controls
Performs related duties and special projects as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts
K-12 culinary experience is preferred
Knowledge of state and federal food standard guidelines that apply to the K-12 market
7-10 years progressive culinary management experience
Must possess at least seven years in menu development
Self-starter, innovative and ability to multitask
Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate team
Must be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
Knowledge of budgets, labor costs, inventory controls
Strong leadership, coaching and training skills
Must possess a passion for excellence
Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lift, bend and carry up to 40 lbs.
Knowledge of safe and sanitary food handling principles
Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior
ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
